Bill Harper Passes Away

WILLIAM B. HARPER III Age 81, passed away from cancer on Nov. 14, 2012 at home in Riverside, CA where he had been a resident for 9 years. He was born on Dec. 4, 1930 in Phoenix, AL. He served in the U.S. Navy for 6 years, Air Force Reserves for 1 yr. and Merchant Marines for 1 yr. He was a corrosion engineer at Harper & Associates Engineering, Inc. He received a Fuller Award. He was a member of the AWWA, NACE, CWEA SARBS and Magnolia Ave. Baptist Church (MABC). Bill was survived by his wife Irma Harper; son Michael G. Harper; grandchildren Andre Harper and Sonia Harper; brother Rabun B. Harper and wife Betty Harper; great grandchildren Felicia Harper, Sara Harper, Jakob Harper, and Becca Harper. He was preceded in death by his daughter Donna Jean Harper. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, Nov. 24, at 11am at Magnolia Ave. Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Wounded Warriors through MABC in Bill’s name.
