The California Water Environment Association is celebrating its 80th Anniversary in 2008. In recognition of this milestone, I put together this slide-show/video showing a brief history of CWEA over the last 80 years that was shown at last year’s Annual Conference in Sacramento.
The video can be seen on YouTube by clicking here.
The video also includes some of the dedicated volunteers that have worked to make the Association successful. I hesitated to include photos of specific people in the video, since any listing of volunteers for an Association like CWEA will undoubtedly leave out more dedicated people than it includes. But the old pictures were just too good not to use. My apologies to those left out but not forgotten, and to those included for being unlucky enough to be photographed 20 years ago. Also, special thanks to Mike Donovan for providing most of the historical information seen in the video.
If you have a high-speed connection and want to watch the video in full-screen mode, it looks much better on the “watch in high-quality” setting on YouTube.
