The California Water Environment Association & California Association of Sanitation Agencies are proud to present the Biosolids & Renewable Energy Specialty Workshop on July 19 in Martinez (SOLD OUT) and July 20 in Playa Del Ray (SOLD OUT). The focus of the seminars is successful Biosolids management practices and innovative treatment technology for Biosolids, renewable energy production, and climate change mitigation. The workshop will introduce attendees to a host of cutting edge innovative technologies for further evaluation.

13 presentations at each workshop, including: Digester gas to vehicle fuel; biosolids dryers and pyrolysis; battery storage projects; marketing biosolids land application and compost; the wastewater sector’s role in organic waste infrastructure;  co-digestion of food waste; EPA online mapping tool for organic wastes and more!

Attendees will learn a framework for determining the questions necessary to critically evaluate the merits and applicability of technologies for implementation. Decision makers, engineers, project managers, operators, consultants, and regulators will find these seminars of great value to their organizations as they explore long term Biosolids treatment and renewable energy options. Lunch will be provided.
