Certification Program Celebrates 75th With Birthday Cake

CWEA’s Technical certification Program continued to celebrate its 75th year with a birthday party at the Northern Regional Training Conference (NRTC) on September 12. The party,  rolled into the regular TCP Committee meeting, attracted about 30 attendees who celebrated with pizza, microbrews, and even a delicious cake specially designed to feature our 75th Anniversary logo.

Sam Rose Honored by SF Bay Section

Also at the party/meeting, Sam Rose, of South Placer MUD and the CWEA Sacramento Area Section, was honored by the CWEA San Francisco Bay Section (SFBS) Collection System Committee for his years of service to help enhance the skills and knowledge of collections system professionals, and for conducting a certification preparation course for SFBS earlier this year.  Sam has also recently served on the Certification Preparation Task Force helping to develop new study guides, instructional guides for study session moderators, and study session moderator workshops held at CWEA’s annual conference.
