CWEA is Moving Forward to Help You Move Forward
Dear Members and Colleagues,
It is my privilege to serve as president of the California Water Environment Association. Over the last year, we’ve added value to your membership and promoted water environment professional success. Perhaps most importantly, we’ve helped you develop the skills you need to clean California’s water and make it a better place to work and live.
Our association has been working on replacing its outdated Association Management System so we can improve your membership experience. You’ll soon be able to log in to your online account using your email address to register for events, apply for certification, renew your membership or connect with your peers. Building this new infrastructure means we’ll be able to better serve our members and continue to grow.
We’re investing in innovation so we can be ready to support the utilities of the future. Adult education is an evolving science and our association needs to continue to lead the way in the 21st century. You’ll see new interactive approaches and technologies at our conferences – like an app to help you navigate our annual conference and smaller focused breakout sessions where you can tackle complex problems with colleagues.
I have lived in California nearly all my life. Its human and natural resources are truly remarkable,
but they need protection. Water environment professionals play a key role, and together we can do it.
