CWEA and Partners Comment on Proposed WDR Changes

Thanks to those of you who responded to our January 14 message to alert you to the deadline for public comment for the proposed changes to the Sanitary Sewer System Monitoring and Reporting Program (MVP). Your input makes an impact with the State Water Resources Control Board.

CWEA, along with TRITAC and our Clean Water Summit Partners, submitted comments indicating the water environment profession’s objection to the draft’s MVP, which contains significant new reporting obligations that will be imposed on collection system operators. These changes are burdensome and go beyond the intent of the MRP update.

Read the letter.

CWEA will continue to work with its partners to follow this issue and to make sure that your voice is heard in Sacramento and across the state.
