CWEA Member Dr. Jeff Neemann named Client Director for Black and Veatch

Dr. Neemann’s relocation from Kansas as Director of Water Treatment Technology, comes amid a growing focus on water reuse applications to help alleviate drought in the West and Southwestern United States. Neemann has played prominent roles in several key, global water reuse projects. He assisted with design of the award-winning Bundamba Advanced Water Treatment Plant near Brisbane, Queensland, part of the largest recycled water scheme in the Southern Hemisphere. “Jeff is a subject matter expert on advanced water treatment technologies and processes for a broad range of raw water quality,” said Mike Orth, Executive Managing Director, Americas, for Black & Veatch’s water business. “He has influenced many global alternative water supply projects and developed water treatment solutions at some of the largest facilities in the world while also leading vital research projects for industry organizations. His dual expertise in Smart Integrated Infrastructure (SII) and energy efficiency has him on the leading edge of 21st century solutions.”
