CWEA/WEF Member Passes Away

Blake Anderson, a CWEA/WEF member passed away on October 14 after a battle with cancer. Anderson is credited with being a visionary and leader in the original push for the Orange County, CA Groundwater Replenishment System (GWRS) project.  He was an exceptional CWEA supporter with a wealth of experience in the wastewater industry. Our thoughts go out to his family during this time of mourning.

    Very sad! While Blake and I were not related (by blood, only by Wastewater!), I considered him my “younger Brother”. He was a great guy. Always so fun to be with. On SARBS, “Plant of the Year” inspections, he taught me things I didn’t know I needed to know. I will miss him.
