SF Water Worker Killed in Car/Work Site Accident, GoFundMe Page Set Up

SF Water, Power, Sewer (SFPUC) lost one of their water repair team members this week after a runaway car plowed into a repair site. Lilianna Preciado was a dedicated public servant who proudly served as one of only a few female plumbers on the Local 38 team. Lilianna started with the SFPUC in 2012 as an Apprentice Utility Plumber, and, after completing the apprentice program, was promoted to Utility Plumber. Our hearts and prayers are with her family, friends and coworkers as we mourn this terrible loss.

A single mother, Lilianna, who was 35 years old, leaves behind a two-year old daughter Aliana. The officers and members of Local 38 are raising money to try and help her family, particularly her young daughter, through the difficult and tragic time. Lilianna’s Go Fund Me page is here if you would like to donate.
