The 2009 CWEA Annual Conference will be here in a few weeks! Your conference committee has developed a training-based focus for this conference. Our theme, “TRAIN TO SUCCEED,” sets the tone for much of what you’ll be in for. From exciting pre-conference workshops to cutting edge technical sessions to fun networking opportunities, AC09 will have it all!
Register here: www.cwea.org/conferences
There will be a free workshop on Tuesday for all local section and committee leaders and anyone interested in being a leader to find out more about CWEA and what it takes to be a successful leader and volunteer.
The Opening General Session will get the technical program off to a rousing start on Wednesday morning. The technical program will offer over 200 diverse presentations to meet your certification needs and interests. Complementing the technical sessions will be several excellent facility tours and vendor exhibits by our industry’s best companies. With all that training and networking, you won’t have much time left…BUT, don’t forget the fun. Our annual Operations Challenge, Golf Tournament and Sludge Trudge will be better than ever.
Come for the training, stay for the free food! Yes, there will be free food and ample networking opportunities every day, starting with the Icebreaker Reception on Tuesday evening. Our generous vendors will be hosting vendor receptions on Wednesday and Thursday afternoons. We are continuing with the free lunch in the exhibit hall on Thursday to thank you all for being such wonderful members and supporters of CWEA. Finally, we’ll top it all off with an Ice Cream Social on Friday afternoon.
