Please join us in congratulating staff member Norah Duffy, Director of Certification, as recipient of the 2019 Next Gen Professional Award from the Institute for Credentialing Excellence (ICE).
ICE is a professional membership association providing education, networking, and other resources for organizations and individuals who work in and serve the credentialing industry. ICE is a leading developer of standards for certification and certificate programs. It is both a provider of and a clearing house for information on trends in certification, test development and delivery, assessment-based certificate programs, and other information relevant to the credentialing community.

The individual demonstrates a commitment to developing skills necessary for success in the credentialing profession, a desire to create a career path in credentialing, and a willingness to mentor others within their organization.
“I am thrilled to be honored by an organization that is so highly esteemed in the credentialing industry. I look forward to incorporating future learning into the continuous improvement of CWEA’s certification program” said Norah.
Norah has been with CWEA for 3 years starting as Certification Manager, quickly rising to the Director position in 2018. Her colleagues describe her as a pleasure to work with, intelligent, thoughtful and professional. Her familiarity with best practices in the credentialing industry will help ensure the ongoing applicability and validity of CWEA’s Technical Certification Program.
